Implants : Researches on implants, artificial cartilage, Bio new material.. Surface treatment & forging technology developments.

Solco Biomedical Institue is performing the various R&D projects including implants of new material & new technology and artificial cartilage researches. From the development of customized ¡®Spinal Fixing Device¡¯ in 1999, the specialized implants fitting for the shape of Korean for spinal surgery, fracture junction and other soft tissues were developed so its technology was recognized. In 2005, it was selected as Advanced Technology Center(ATC) of implants & surgical instruments by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Energy. Now we¡¯re concentrating on the development of implants fitting for the shape of Korean & researches on Bio new material, surface treatment & forging technology.

Medical Electronics : Technology researches on home medical instrument , laser treatment, diagnosing treatment in addition to core technology research on medical instruments.

Solco Biomedical Institue is developing home medical instruments & health care products in an aging society and researching actively on diagnosing & treatment instruments through domestic & foreign educational-industrial joint researches. It commercialized home health care products including personal heating & electric stimulator and plasma air cleaner. In addition, it¡¯s developing the various laser treatment instruments through technical researches on semiconductor laser module, Also as the core research center of ¡®Advanced Research Cluster in Medical Instruments¡¯ project of the government agency, it¡¯s developing the specialized diagnosing & treatment instruments including electric & chemical cancer treatment equipment & breast cancer treatment equipment.
